  • Bad location of Orbi
  • Poor internet connectivity

That’s all! Now that you have come to know about the reasons causing Orbi blue light or Orbi light colors, follow the fixes highlighted below to get it fixed.

What Does Blue Light on Orbi Means? Quick Fixes!

Blue light on Orbi means that your Netgear Orbi and satellite are synced and your internet connection is good enough. And, if it turns off automatically after a little while, then consider yourself on the top of the word. But, if it doesn’t disappear, try power cycling your Orbi and satellite.

Fix 1: Power Cycle Orbi

A random technical glitch is one of the topmost reasons why the blue light on your Orbi is not turning off. Don’t worry! The glitch can be resolved easily by simply power cycling or restarting your Orbi.

Just turn off your Orbi. Doing so will disconnect it from your internet modem and satellite. Turn off the satellite as well. Wait for some time.

Turn your Orbi on and the satellite. Make sure to provide your Netgear Orbi router and the satellite a proper power. Reconnect it and the satellite by pressing the sync button on both simultaneously.

Connect your modem and the Orbi again. We hope that after applying this fix, the Orbi blue light has went away upon being stable for a shorter time.

By any chance, you get the same error, try changing the location of your Orbi and satellite. Simply keep them at a safe distance. And, do not keep them inside your cabinet, beneath your study table, or back of your laptop.

Need More Help?

If there is a loose Ethernet connection between your Netgear Orbi and modem, then the blue light will remain on your Orbi. For fixing the issue, you need to check the cable connection and make sure that it will not be the reason again for the Orbi blue light issue.

But, if you have used a wireless source for connecting them, there could be a problem of slow or weak internet. So, contact your ISP and ask him to help you get rid of slow internet speed.

Besides, you must reduce the distance between them so that the obstacles (baby monitors, Alexa devices, Bluetooth speakers, and so on) in the way of your Orbi and modem could not hamper their WiFi speed and range.

If the Orbi is still acting as same then you can initiate reset process to dispel the problem. But after that, you have to re-adjust the settings by access the orbilogin interface.

The Last Words

Getting Orbi blue light is a good thing. But, when it doesn’t goes away, it means something is wrong with your Orbi and satellite. Don’t sweat over it! The couple of fixes listed here are effective. The will surely help you to cope up with the issue.
