What are interview questions for AWS

Read Time:4 Minute, 54 Second

1) Explain what is AWS?

AWS stands for Amazon Web Service; This is a collection of remote computing services also known as cloud computing platforms. The new domain of cloud computing is also known as Iaas or infrastructure as a service.

2) Mention what is the main component AWS?

The main component AWS is

Route 53: DNS Web Services

Simple e-mail service: lets send emails using a calm fire call or via regular SMTP

Identity Management and Access: It provides enhanced security and identity management for your AWS account

Simple storage device or (S3): This is the most widely used AWS storage device and service

Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2): Sprintzeal provides computing resources on demand for hosting applications. This is useful if there is an unexpected workload

ELASTIC BLOCK STORE (EBS): It offers persistent storage volume that attaches to EC2 to allow you to survive data through the age of the Single Amazon EC2 instance

Cloudwatch: To monitor AWS Solutions Architect Salary in 2021resources, allow administrators to view and collect keys too, one can set a notification alarm if a problem occurs.

3) Explain what is S3?

S3 stands for simple storage services. You can use the S3 interface to save and take a number of data, anytime and from anywhere on the web. For S3, payment model “pay when you go.”

4) What is Ami?

Ami means Amazon engine image. This is a template that provides information (operating systems, application servers, and applications) needed to launch an Instance, which is a copy of the AMI that runs as a virtual server in the cloud. You can launch an instance of as many amizzes as you need.

5) Mention what relationship between Instance and Ami?

From one AMI, you can launch several types of examples. The instance type defines the host computer hardware that is used for your instance. Each type of instance provides a computer and different memory capabilities. After you launch an instance, it looks like a traditional host, and we can interact with it like us with any computer.

6) What is included in Ami?

An Ami includes the following things

Template for Root Volume for Instance

Launches permission to decide which AWS account can take advantage of AMI to launch an instance

Mapping block devices that determine the volume to attach to the instance when launched

7) How can you send requests to Amazon S3?

Amazon S3 is a rest service, and you can send requests using the rest of the fire or the Wrapper AWS SDK library that wraps the underlying AMAZON S3 break.

8) How many buckets can you make on AWS by default?

By default, you can make up to 100 buckets on each of your AWS accounts.

9) Explain Can you scale the Amazon instance vertical? How?

Yes, you can scale vertically on the Amazon instance. Therefore

Turn a bigger example of a new one than what you currently run

Pause for example and remove the root net volume from the server and discard

Then stop your instance directly and remove the root volume

Note the unique device ID and install the root volume to your new server

And start again

10) Explain what is T2 Instance?

T2 Instances are designed to provide moderate basic performance and the ability to explode higher performance as required by workload.

11) In VPC with personal and public subnets, the database server is ideally launched to which subnets?

With personal and public subnets in VPC, the database server must be launched ideally to private subnets.

13) Mention what security security practices for Amazon EC2?

For Amazon EC2 best best practices, follow these steps

Use AWS identity and access management to control access to your AWS resources

Limit access by allowing only a trusted host or network to access the port on your instance

Review the rules in your security group regularly

Just open the permission you need

Disable password-based logins, for example, launched from your Ami

14) Explain how buffers are used in Amazon web services?

The buffer is used to make the system stronger to manage traffic or load by synchronizing different components. Usually, the component accepts and processes requests in an unbalanced way. With the help of buffers, components will be balanced and will work at the same speed to provide faster service.

15) When connecting to your instance, what might be faced by connection problems?

Connection errors that may be there might be encountered when connecting an instance

Connection time ends

User keys are not recognized by the server

The host key was not found, permission was rejected

Unprotected personal key files

The server rejects our key or no supported authentication method available

Error Using Mindsterm in Safari Browser

Error using Mac OS X RDP Client

16) What is the key pair on AWS?

The key pair is a safe login information for your virtual machine. To connect to an Instance, you can use a key pair that contains public keys and personal keys.

17) Explain the snowball

Snowball is a data transportation option. It uses source equipment to a large amount of data into and out of AWS. With the help of snowball, you can transfer a large amount of data from one place to another. This helps you reduce network costs.

18) What is Redshift?

Redshift is a large data warehouse product. This is a fast and powerful data warehouse service, fully managed in the cloud.

19) What are the advantages of automatic scaling?

The following is an autoscaling advantage

Offers error tolerance

Better availability

Better cost management

20) What is a subnet?

Most IP addresses are divided into pieces known as subnets.

21) Can you make a connection to peek into VPC in a different area?

Yes, we can make connections to peek into VPC in different areas. This is called a VPC peering connection between regions.
