When you get married, you want your day to be as beautiful, and as fashionable as possible. All the memories and the photos are going to stay with you for many years to come. So, what can you do to make your wedding that bit more fashionable, and what should you be considering? Even if you are not getting married within the next year, you need to start planning, as you will find those good service providers often get booked up very early/in advance.
What Does Your Wedding Look Like and What Does it Mean to You
To begin with, you must get your vision sorted. You must think about what you want your wedding to look like (and feel like). Having a vision and vibe for the whole event and day will help you to bring together all your ideas, and it will help get all of the design and decor elements to be as cohesive as possible. Have you had an idea about what your wedding will look like, have you got any clippings from magazines or websites you can use on a mood board – or, are you open to several ideas and themes. If you want to incorporate several elements or staples then perhaps instead you should start focusing on mixing and matching? When you are thinking about what you want your dream wedding to look like, also think about what it means to you and your partner. For example, does it mean the opportunity to have a big get-together? Or, is it the time to reconnect with loved ones?
What Venue Are You Celebrating At
When you are looking at venues, you need to think about those that are close to your home (or place of marriage) as lots of traveling will be tiring. You also need to think about what services and providers will be offered by the venue (and most importantly what you will need to arrange yourself). For example, a lot of venues can provide a list of approved companies and providers that they use, these will include everything from wedding caterers right through to florists and balloon sculptures. The right venue may not offer this list of approved providers, and you may have to source them yourself. If this is the case, you will need to give yourself as much time as possible.
The Dress and Outfits are Important
What is your wedding dress doing to look like, and what are other members of the bridal party going to be wearing? Even if you are not going for co-ordination, it will still be nice to have similar elements which can be polluted together for photographs. As the outfits and the wedding dress are important elements of your day, you should focus on trying on different styles and colors, to be sure that you get the outfits that you want, and that of course suit you.
Flowers, Decorations and Event Layout are Crucial Elements
Often you can get tied up looking at dresses, and even organizing providers and companies to make your big day truly special. In the buildup, you can forget other elements, but you must remember that smaller things are just as important as the larger elements. For example, the decorations in the venue, the flowers, and even the layout of the tables in a venue can affect how it looks, and how it feels.
