Documents necessary for MSME registration include the following:

  • The applicant’s Aadhar number
  • Name, gender, PAN number, email address, and mobile number of the applicant.
  • The organization’s PAN, location, and address.
  • The number of employees you intend to hire and the date you intend to open your firm.
  • IFSC code and bank account number
  • The company’s primary business activity
  • 2 digit NIC code
  • Plant and machinery/equipment purchases
  •  MoA and AoA
  • Copies of the Purchase and Sales Bills

A step-by-step guide to MSME registration:

  1. Go to www.udyamregister.org, which is the official website.

 

  1. Complete the online application – The first step is to complete the MSME Registration form, which will ask for basic information about your firms, such as its name, registration number, and GST number.

 

  1. Fill in your personal information – At this point, you must fill in all of your personal information, including your name, address, PAN card, bank account details, and any other information required for MSME registration. A photo must also be uploaded. Before you post a photo, be sure it fits within the site’s size restrictions.

 

  1. The application will be processed by an executive An MSME executive will assess your application during this stage. You will be notified if there is a discrepancy and given the option to remedy it.

 

  1. Obtain a mail certificate – You will receive a certificate for MSME Registration after completing the entire form. You can download a copy of the Sample MSME Certificate to see how it would look. You will not receive a hard copy from the Ministry. For MSME Registration, you will receive a virtual certificate.

Why is it necessary to register your company as an MSME?

Small businesses – Plant and machinery investments of up to Rs 10 crore and a turnover of up to Rs 50 crore are eligible.

Medium-sized businesses – Plant and machinery investments of up to Rs 20 crore and an annual turnover of less than Rs 100 crore are eligible.

The amount of money invested in equipment can be used to categorize MSME service businesses.

Microbusinesses – Entities with a turnover of fewer than 5 crores and an investment of up to 1 crore.

Small businesses – Entities with a turnover of Rs 50 crore and an investment of up to Rs 10 crore.

Medium-sized businesses – Entities with annual sales of less than Rs 100 crore and an investment of up to Rs 20 crore.
