How to check the DU JAT result

Read Time:3 Minute, 10 Second

The DU JAT result  comprises the names of all of the qualified candidates who took part in the test. In addition, test-takers may check their scorecards on the National Testing Agency’s official website (nta.ac.in).

Admission.uod.ac.in provides a PDF copy of the rank list, which may be downloaded. A candidate’s registration number and date of birth may be used to verify their DU JAT result. The result of the DU JAT exam shows the candidate’s roll number, name, and parent’s name, category, and percentile score for the examination. Candidates might amend their college course selections once the results are announced.

The DU JAT scores are averaged throughout both testing sessions to ensure fairness for all candidates. DU JAT member universities provide 65 percent of the weighted average of the entrance test and 35 percent of Class 12 marks as part of the admissions procedure for undergraduate management programmes.

How to Check DU JAT Result?

Candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to get a copy of the DU JAT exam rank list for admission. In order to check the DU JAT result, you must do as follows:

  • Visit admission.uod.ac.in, the official admissions website of Delhi University.
  • To submit an application for JAT admission, go to the “JAT Admission” website.
  • This is the third step:
  • ‘Rankwise Result for Admission to Bachelor of Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Business Administration (FIA), and Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics” should be chosen from the drop-down menu.
  • The fourth stage is to take a step back and reassess your circumstances.
  • Use the keyboard shortcut ‘Ctrl+F’ and the name, roll number, or application number to find out where you are in the ranks.

DU JAT’s Tie-Breaking Procedure:

According to Delhi University, a tie in the final composite score would be broken in the following manner if weightage is accorded to both the class 12trh and JAT scores.

  • Priority is given to those who achieved the highest percentage of points on the qualifying test (adjusted average of the top four subjects, including one language).
  • To be considered for admission, students with higher test scores are given precedence.
  • Priority is given to those who scored the best in the top five courses, including one foreign language, in high school.
  • Priority is given to applicants whose birth dates are earlier than those shown on their high school diploma.

DU JAT Normalization of marks:

To accommodate all of the participants, the DU JAT has been conducted in two shifts. Accordingly, NTA has agreed to the technique indicated below in order to evaluate test-takers on an equal basis.

The DU JAT will utilize an equipercentile technique to normalize the scores of candidates. The merit list is based on the percentile rankings determined and equal.

A large number of candidates came up for the exam, which was conducted in two shifts. The complexity of the tests varied from change to shift due to the variety of the question papers. In order to alter the difficulty level of questions, the marks acquired by applicants are normalized.

When all tests for all shifts on the same subject have been finished, the normalization of marks is complete.

What happens after the DU JAT results are announced?

Applicants must complete the admissions procedures at the colleges within the time frames specified by the schools. A candidate allocated to an institution or course must provide all necessary papers at the time of admission. As soon as they’ve printed the registration form and the list of needed documents or certificates, candidates should visit the designated colleges to have their documents confirmed by the admissions staff. Once a college or department has accepted a student’s application, they must pay the required fees before their file may be considered for admission.
